أكدت قطر، الخميس، حرصها على الاستجابة لتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية والإغاثية للشعب السوري، لافتة إلى تعاونها في هذا المجال مع السلطات التركية.
جاء ذك في بيان صادر عن “صندوق قطر للتنمية” (حكومي)، نشره عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، بمناسبة وضعه بالتعاون مع إدارة الكوارث والطوارئ التركية “آفاد”، حجر الأساس لتطوير مدينة متكاملة للاجئين والنازحين شمال سوريا، في فعالية أمس الأربعاء.
وبحسب البيان، “تعتبر هذه المدينة ذات خدمات متكاملة، وتستهدف 50 ألف شخص، وتضم 5 آلاف شقة ومرافق عامة، كما تتضمن مسجدًا ومركزا تجاريا و3 مدارس ومركزا صحيا”.
ولفت إلى أنه “سيتم تطوير البنية التحتية للمدينة عبر إنشاء طرق وحدائق عامة وشبكة كهرباء وخزانات مياه، لتوفير سبل العيش الكريم للنازحين واللاجئين السوريين ودعم صمودهم”.
وتابع: “يعد تعاون صندوق قطر للتنمية مع رئاسة إدارة الكوارث والطوارئ التركية، جزءا من جهود الصندوق لدعم الشعب السوري الشقيق”.
وأردف: “كانت دولة قطر حريصة منذ بداية الأزمة السورية على الاستجابة لتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية والإغاثية للشعب السوري، انطلاقا من إيمانها الثابت بحقهم في العيش الكريم”.
و”شملت المساعدات الضرورية التي قدمتها دولة قطر لتحسين سبل العيش للشعب السوري، على عدد من المشاريع التي غطت عدة قطاعات أساسية كالصحة والتعليم والتمكين الاقتصادي بالإضافة إلى المساعدات الإغاثية والشتوية”، وفق البيان ذاته.
