أصدر رئيس الجمهورية العربية السورية أحمد الشرع المرسوم رقم (188) لعام 2025، القاضي بتحديد الأعياد الرسمية والعطل التي يستفيد منها العاملون في الدولة بأجر كامل.
وينص المرسوم على مراعاة أحكام القانون الأساسي للعاملين في الدولة رقم (50) لعام 2004، بالنسبة للجهات التي تتطلب طبيعة عملها الاستمرار خلال الأعياد، كما يحدد أن يصدر لاحقاً بلاغ بتواريخ الأعياد التي لم تُذكر في نص المرسوم.
وبموجب المرسوم الجديد، يُلغى العمل بالمرسوم رقم (474) لعام 2004 وتعديلاته، وكل ما يخالف أحكام المرسوم الحالي.
و قد ألغى المرسوم بعض العطل التي كانت معتمدة زمن النظام البائد و أضاف عطلا أخرى
