أعلنت وزارة الداخلية، السبت 20 حزيران، إلقاء القبض على المدعو أكرم صالح الحمد، المعروف بلقب “عبدو تصنيع”، والذي كان يتولى مسؤولية التصنيع ضمن قطاع التصنيع التابع لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي في المنطقة الشرقية.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن العملية نُفذت بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، مشيرة إلى أن الموقوف يعد من أبرز المتورطين في إعداد وتصنيع العبوات الناسفة والألغام التي استخدمها التنظيم في تنفيذ عملياته الإرهابية، وذلك استناداً إلى معلومات تم الحصول عليها خلال التحقيقات مع موقوفين سابقين من عناصر الخلية نفسها.
وبحسب الوزارة، فإن الموقوف متورط في تفجير دراجة نارية مفخخة في مدينة البوكمال، إضافة إلى تنفيذ تفجير بعبوة ناسفة استهدف آلية عسكرية من نوع “شاص” تابعة للجيش السوري، كما شارك في زرع عبوة ناسفة كانت معدة لاستهداف أحد عناصر الأمن الداخلي.
