أكد رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان، اليوم الاثنين، أن بلاده تبذل جهوداً مكثفة لتحقيق سلام دائم في الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية، مشيراً إلى العمل على استئناف المفاوضات بين موسكو وكييف.
وجاء ذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع المستشار الألماني فريدريش ميرتس، جرى خلاله بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين تركيا وألمانيا، إلى جانب عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية.
وشدد أردوغان على أهمية تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين ومواصلة الخطوات المتبادلة لتطوير التعاون، كما أعرب عن أمله في أن تعزز أوروبا قدراتها الدفاعية في إطار حلف الناتو خلال قمة القادة المقررة في أنقرة يومي 7 و8 تموز المقبل، مع الحفاظ على ما وصفه بالرابط عبر الأطلسي.
