سلط تقرير إنساني صدر، الإثنين، عن منظمات دولية تقودها الأمم المتحدة الضوء على معاناة السكان في شمال غربي سوريا، خلال الأشهر الأولى من عام 2024، نتيجة لتصاعد الأعمال العدائية.
وخلص التقرير، الصادر عن تجمع الحماية في مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية – أوتشا، إلى أن العنف تصاعد في المنطقة خلال الأشهر الأولى من العام الجاري، ما أدى إلى تدهور الوضع الأمني وزيادة حدة أزمة النزوح والفقر.
وأفاد التقرير بأن 35% من السكان يفكرون في الانتقال بسبب تصاعد الأعمال العدائية، لا سيما في إدلب وحلب، في حين أن الخوف هو الدافع الأساسي للتفكير في الانتقال بنسبة 72%.
وحدد 60% من المشاركين أن الاستغلال يشكل خطراً رئيسياً، و 48% قلقون من عمالة الأطفال، و36% صرحوا بوجود مشكلات تتعلق بالاعتداء والإساءة، إضافة إلى عدم اليقين بشأن آليات الحماية.
وذكر التقرير أن 20% يواجهون تهديدات بالإخلاء، وأن الأسباب الرئيسية تشمل عدم دفع الإيجار وارتفاع المطالبات المالية من الملاك.
وأعرب 79% عن خشيتهم من أن يصبحوا بلا مأوى في حال إجبارهم على النزوح، في حين عبّر 57% عن قلقهم بشأن الدخل والاستغلال، بينما يعاني 89% من مشكلات نفسية ولم يتلقوا أي دعم.
