عبر وزير الخارجية بالإدارة السورية الجديدة أسعد الشيباني عن سعادته، الثلاثاء، باتصال تلقاه من نظيره المصري بدر عبد العاطي أكد فيه الأخير على أن مصر وسوريا “يجمعهما تاريخ واحد”.
وقال الشيباني في بيان عقب الاتصال: “سعدت باتصال معالي وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبد العاطي، والذي أكد فيه على أهمية دور البلدين في تحقيق الاستقرار والازدهار للمنطقة”.
وأضاف، أن عبد العاطي أكد كذلك أن “مصر وسوريا يجمعهما تاريخ واحد ومستقبل واعد بإذن الله”، دون ذكر تفاصيل أخرى.
من جانبها، ذكرت الخارجية المصرية في بيان نشرته على فيسبوك، أن عبد العاطي أكد خلال الاتصال الهاتفي “وقوف مصر بشكل كامل مع الشعب السوري الشقيق ودعم تطلعاته المشروعة”.
ونقل تميم خلاف المتحدث الرسمي للوزارة، دعوة عبد العاطي “كافة الأطراف السورية في هذه المرحلة الفاصلة إلى إعلاء المصلحة الوطنية، ودعم الاستقرار في سوريا والحفاظ على مؤسساتها الوطنية ومقدراتها ووحدة وسلامة أراضيها”.
وأضاف أن “مصر تأمل أن تتسم عملية الانتقال السياسي في سوريا بالشمولية، وأن تتم عبر ملكية وطنية سورية خالصة دون إملاءات أو تدخلات خارجية، وبما يدعم وحدة واستقرار سوريا وشعبها بكل مكوناته وأطيافه، ويحافظ على هويتها العربية الأصيلة”.
وشدد عبد العاطي على “أهمية أن تتبنى العملية السياسية مقاربة شاملة وجامعة لكافة القوى الوطنية السورية تعكس التنوع المجتمعي والديني والطائفي والعرقي داخل سوريا، وأن تكون سوريا مصدر استقرار بالمنطقة، مع إفساح المجال للقوى السياسية الوطنية المختلفة لأن يكون لها دور في إدارة المرحلة الانتقالية وإعادة بناء سوريا ومؤسساتها الوطنية لكى تستعيد مكانتها الإقليمية والدولية التي تستحقها”.
ووفق البيان المصري “تم الاتفاق في نهاية الاتصال على استمرار التواصل خلال الفترة القادمة”.
