أعلن وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني، الثلاثاء، أنه سيمثل بلاده “لأول مرة في تاريخها” بمنتدى دافوس الاقتصادي المنعقد حاليا في سويسرا.
وقال الشيباني في منشور على حسابه الرسمي بمنصة إكس: “سأتشرف بتمثيل سوريا لأول مرة في تاريخها في منتدى الاقتصاد العالمي دافوس 2025 في سويسرا”.
وأضاف: “سننقل للعالم رؤيتنا التنموية حول مستقبل سوريا وتطلعات شعبنا العظيم”.
والثلاثاء، انطلقت جلسات اليوم الثاني من الاجتماع السنوي للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي بمدينة دافوس السويسرية.
ويعقد المنتدى من 20 إلى 24 يناير/ كانون الثاني الجاري، تحت شعار “التعاون من أجل العصر الذكي”.
وتركز أكثر من 200 جلسة تعقد في إطار المنتدى على سبل تعزيز المرونة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية واستخدام التكنولوجيا الجديدة واستعادة الرخاء، وفق أدبيات المنتدى.
وتعد مشاركة سوريا بالنسخة الحالية لدافوس في إطار أهم التحولات الاقتصادية التي تسعى الإدارة الجديدة للقيام بها، بغية الانفتاح على العالم، بعد الإطاحة بنظام الأسد.
وفي 8 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول الماضي، بسطت فصائل سورية سيطرتها على العاصمة دمشق، لينتهي بذلك 61 عاما من نظام حزب البعث الدموي، و53 سنة من حكم عائلة الأسد.
وفي اليوم التالي، أعلن قائد الإدارة السورية الجديدة أحمد الشرع تكليف محمد البشير بتشكيل حكومة جديدة لإدارة مرحلة انتقالية.
