أرسل الهلال الأحمر التركي نصف طن مستلزمات طبية إلى سوريا على متن طائرة الخطوط التركية التي نفذت الخميس أول رحلة للشركة إلى دمشق بعد توقف دام 13 عامًا.
وقال رئيس بعثة الهلال الأحمر التركي في سوريا، فرحات سورملي، للأناضول: “نمارس أنشطتنا منذ بداية الأحداث السورية، وبعد الإطاحة بالنظام أنشأنا ممثلية لنا في دمشق”.
وأشار سورملي إلى أن الهلال الأحمر يواصل أنشطة المساعدات في دمشق بتنسيق مع السلطات السورية، وأنه أرسل قرابة نصف طن من المساعدات الطبية تضمنت أجهزة قياس حرارة ومستلزمات أخرى إلى دمشق بطائرة الخطوط التركية .
وذكر رئيس البعثة أنهم سيقدمون المساعدة الطبية إلى المؤسسات ذات الصلة في أقرب وقت ممكن.
