أعلن رئيس بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى سوريا، مايكل أونماخت، عقد اجتماع مثمر في دمشق مع وزير الزراعة والإصلاح الزراعي محمد طه الأحمد، لمناقشة سبل دعم القطاع الزراعي السوري.
وقال رئيس البعثة عبر منصة “إكس”، إن اللقاء تناول الدور الحيوي لإصلاح الزراعة في تعزيز الاستدامة والنمو الاقتصادي، إلى جانب مواجهة تحديات التغير المناخي التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على هذا القطاع.
وأكد أونماخت أن دعم الزراعة السورية يظل أولوية بالنسبة للاتحاد الأوروبي، لكونها ركيزة أساسية لتحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في البلاد.
