أعرب رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان عن حزنه إثر تلقيه نبأ وفاة بابا الفاتيكان فرنسيس، مقدما تعازيه للعالم الكاثوليكي.
وفي منشور على حسابه بمنصة إكس قدم رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان تعازيه أيضا لأسرة البابا ولدولة الفاتيكان.
وقال رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان: “كان البابا فرنسيس رجل دولة محترمًا، وفي الوقت ذاته زعيمًا روحيًا أعطى أهمية للحوار بين أتباع العقائد المختلفة، وأخذ زمام المبادرة في مواجهة المآسي الإنسانية، وخاصة المسألة الفلسطينية والإبادة الجماعية في غزة”.
وأضاف :”أتقدم بأحرّ التعازي باسمي وباسم دولتي إلى أسرة الفقيد، ودولة الفاتيكان، والعالم الكاثوليكي، راجيًا لهم الصبر والسلوان”.
وفي وقت سابق الاثنين، أعلن الفاتيكان، وفاة البابا فرنسيس عن عمر يناهز 88 عاما، بعد تدهور في صحته منذ 18 فبراير/شباط الماضي.
وقال الفاتيكان في بيان عبر إكس: “توفي البابا فرنسيس في اثنين الفصح 21 أبريل (نيسان) 2025، في الـ 88 والثمانين من العمر، في مقر إقامته في دار القديسة مارتا بالفاتيكان”.
