قال رئيس دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة التركية فخر الدين ألطون، إن الجمهورية التركية تدعم سوريا في خطواتها لرسم مستقبلها بحرية، مشدداً أن العلاقات بين الجمهورية التركية وسوريا ليست بسبب القرب الجغرافي فقط، وإنما هي ممزوجة بروابط ثقافية ودينية وتاريخية.
جاء ذلك في رسالة بعثها ألطون لندوة أقيمت في دمشق، الثلاثاء 8 تموز، حملت عنوان “التعاون على طريق السلام والاستقرار: الأخوّة التركية السورية”، وحضرها العديد من الأكاديميين والصحفيين والمنظمات المدنية والمسؤولين، فضلا عن مشاركين محليين وأجانب.
وأشار رئيس دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة التركية فخر الدين ألطون إلى أن الصداقة والتضامن متجذران بين الشعبَين وقد استمرتا خلال حكم نظام البعث البائد الذي تسبب في معاناة لا توصف للشعب السوري.
وبيّن رئيس دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة التركية فخر الدين ألطون أن مؤسسات مثل إدارة الكوارث والطوارئ (آفاد) والهلال الأحمر والوكالة التركية للتعاون والتنسيق (تيكا)، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني وقفت دائمًا إلى جانب السوريين الذين تستضيفهم الجمهورية التركية ومن هم خارج حدود الجمهورية التركية ، وأضاف: “في المرحلة المقبلة، ترى الجمهورية التركية أن تخفيف معاناة الشعب السوري وبناء مستقبل يسوده السلام في المنطقة هو مسؤولية تاريخية وإنسانية تقع على عاتقها”.
ولفت إلى تأكيد رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان مرارًا بأن الجمهورية التركية ستقف إلى جانب الشعب السوري في إعادة الإعمار وستواصل تقديم جميع أنواع الدعم لها.
كما شدد أن دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة التركية تولي أهمية كبيرة لتعزيز التعاون التركي السوري في مكافحة التضليل الإعلامي في مجالات الإعلام والاتصال والدبلوماسية العامة، وأنها تقوم بعمل منسق مع وزارة الإعلام السورية، معربًا عن ثقته بأن هذه الندوة ستساهم في التعاون بين البلدين.
