أكد الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع، الخميس، أهمية الشفافية والمشاركة الواسعة في انتخابات مجلس الشعب (البرلمان) المقبلة.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه في قصر الشعب بدمشق، أعضاء اللجنة العليا لانتخابات المجلس، وفق وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية “سانا”.
وقالت الوكالة، إن الشرع اجتمع “بأعضاء اللجنة العليا لانتخابات مجلس الشعب، واطلع على نتائج الجولات التعريفية التي قامت بها اللجنة على المحافظات السورية، وما تضمنته من سماع وجهات نظر المواطنين حول الاستحقاق الانتخابي”.
وشدد الشرع على “أهمية الشفافية، وضمان مشاركة واسعة تعكس إرادة الشعب السوري في اختيار ممثليه”.
وفي 13 يونيو/ حزيران الماضي، أصدر الشرع مرسوما بتشكيل اللجنة، تم فيه توزيع 150 مقعدا على 14 محافظة.
ويترأس اللجنة وفق المرسوم محمد طه الأحمد، وتضم في عضويتها حسن إبراهيم الدغيم، وعماد يعقوب برق، ولارا شاهر عيزوقي، ونوار إلياس نجمة، ومحمد علي محمد ياسين، إلى جانب محمد خضر ولي، ومحمد ياسر كحالة، وحنان إبراهيم البلخي، وبدر الجاموس، وأنس العبده.
وفي 18 يونيو، أعلنت اللجنة بدء عملها، ورجحت تشكيل المجلس الجديد خلال مدة تراوح بين 60 و90 يوما.
