قال رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان، إن نظيره السوري أحمد الشرع اتخذ “موقفا حازما” بشأن الأحداث الأخيرة في بلاده (اشتباكات السويداء) ولم يقدم أي “تنازلات”.
جاء ذلك في تصريح أدلى به للصحفيين على متن الطائرة الرئاسية أثناء عودته مساء الأحد من جمهورية شمال قبرص التركية.
وقال في هذا الخصوص: “الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع اتخذ موقفا حازما بشأن الأحداث الأخيرة في بلاده ولم يقدم أي تنازلات”.
وفيما يخص التدخلات الإسرائيلية في شؤون سوريا، قال رئيس الجمهورية التركية السيد رجب طيب أردوغان: “إسرائيل تواصل استفزازاتها ولا تريد الاستقرار في المنطقة وتعتقد أنه ليس من مصلحتها أن تكون سوريا موحدة”.
وشدد على ضرورة الإيضاح للعالم أجمع، أن “إسرائيل تعمل على عرقلة مشروع الاستقرار في سوريا”.
كما تطرق إلى العودة الطوعية للسوريين إلى بلادهم قائلا: “سنقدم كل أنواع الدعم لتسريع العودة الطوعية للسوريين، وبذلك سنساهم في تعافي سوريا سريعاً وتأمين حدودنا الجنوبية”.
