بدأت في العاصمة السورية دمشق، الخميس، أعمال منتدى الاستثمار السوري السعودي الأول بحضور الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع ورجال أعمال من البلدين.
وقالت وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية “سانا”: “بحضور الرئيس أحمد الشرع بدء أعمال المنتدى الاستثماري السوري السعودي في قصر الشعب بدمشق (دون أن تحدد مدته)”.
والأربعاء، أعلن وزير الإعلام السوري حمزة المصطفى، في مؤتمر صحفي بدمشق، عن أول منتدى للاستثمار بين بلاده والسعودية، مشيرا إلى أن المنتدى سيشهد توقيع 44 اتفاقية بقيمة 6 مليارات دولار، وسيساهم في تأمين 50 ألف فرصة عمل.
وأوضح المصطفى أن “الاتفاقات تشمل كل القطاعات، وتتوزع على المحافظات السورية (الـ14) وليست محصورة في منطقة محددة”.
كما قال وزير الاستثمار السعودي خالد الفالح في تصريحات لقناة “العربية” السعودية، إن الرياض ستعلن عن مشاريع كبيرة في سوريا، الخميس.
وأفادت وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية “سانا” الأربعاء، بوصول وفد سعودي يضم أكثر من 130 رجل أعمال ومستثمر برئاسة الفالح إلى مطار دمشق الدولي، دون تحديد مدة الزيارة.
وأضافت الوكالة، أن الوفد سيبحث “فرص التعاون المشترك، وتوقيع اتفاقيات تسهم في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة، والمصالح الاقتصادية بين سوريا والمملكة العربية السعودية”.
ومنذ الإطاحة بنظام بشار الأسد أواخر 2024، تجرى الإدارة السورية الجديدة إصلاحات اقتصادية وسياسية، وتبذل جهودا مكثفة لإطلاق وتعزيز التعاون مع دول عديدة.
وفي 8 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول 2024، بسطت فصائل سورية سيطرتها على دمشق، منهية 61 عاما من حكم حزب البعث، بينها 53 عاما من حكم أسرة الأسد.
