يستعد رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان، لإلقاء كلمة في الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، الثلاثاء القادم، للمرة الـخامسة عشرة ، بعد مشاركته الأولى عام 2005، بينها أربعُ مشاركات عندما كان يشغل منصب رئاسة الوزراء، وعشرُ مشاركاتٍ بصفته رئيسا للجمهورية.
ومن المنتظر أن تركز كلمة أردوغان على الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها إسرائيل في غزة، والاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، والخطوات الدولية الواجب اتخاذها ضد إسرائيل , و حثِّ الدولِ الأعضاء على الوقوف في وجه الهجمات الإسرائيلية.
كما سيعقد أردوغان اجتماعات مع رؤساء الدول والحكومات في إطار القمة.
ومن المتوقع أن يلقي كلمة في مؤتمر فلسطين في 22 سبتمبر، وفي قمة الأمم المتحدة للمناخ يوم 24 سبتمبر.
