اجتمع معاون وزير الداخلية في الجمهورية العربية السورية للشؤون الأمنية اللواء عبد القادر طحان، السبت 20 أيلول، مع نائب وزير الداخلية في الجمهورية التركية منير كارال أوغلو، في زيارة رسمية لتركيا تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الأمني بين البلدين.
وناقش اللقاء حسب ما نقلت الوزارة عبر معرّفاتها الرّسمية، متابعة تنفيذ الاتفاق الذي جرى بين وزير الداخلية ونظيره التركي والمتعلق بإيفاد عدد من العاملين في وزارة الداخلية إلى تركيا، لتلقي تدريبات تخصصية في مجالات متعددة.
وتناول الاجتماع الحديث عن معرض أدوات الأمن الداخلي، وسبل مشاركة الجانب السوري فيه، وتطرق إلى سبل تفعيل التعاون مع منظمة الإنتربول الدولي في سوريا، بما يسهم في تعزيز العمل الأمني المشترك ومكافحة الجريمة المنظمة.
ويأتي هذا التعاون المشترك في سياق الجهود الحكومية لإعادة بناء المؤسسة الأمنية، وبخاصة في ظل التحديات الأمنية الداخلية والخارجية التي تواجه البلاد والتي تتطلب تبادل الخبرات والخطط في سبيل الحفاظ على أمن سوريا والدول المجاورة.
وكان وزير الداخلية أنس خطاب التقى نظيره التركي علي يرلي كايا، مطلع آب الماضي في العاصمة التركية أنقرة لمناقشة ملفات عدة، أبرزها تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين الوزارتين وتطوير التنسيق الأمني، إضافة إلى دعم وتطوير المؤسسات الأمنية السورية.
وصرّح حينها نائب الرئيس التركي جودت يلماز أنهم يواصلون دعم استقرار سوريا وتعزيز قدراتها المؤسسية والحوكمة الشاملة لجميع مكوناتها.
