اعتقلت الشرطة الإسرائيلية، صباح الأحد، النائبة العربية السابقة في الكنيست حنين زعبي، بدعوى “التحريض على الإرهاب”، عقب خطاب ألقته في مؤتمر عن فلسطين عُقد في العاصمة النمساوية فيينا قبل أشهر.
وذكرت القناة 13 العبرية أن الشرطة اقتادت زعبي من منزلها في مدينة الناصرة للتحقيق، فيما قالت في بيان لها إن أقوالها تثير شبهة “التعاطف العلني مع منظمة إرهابية والتحريض على أعمال إرهابية”.
من جانبه، وصف محاميها حسن جبرين الاعتقال بأنه “خطوة سياسية تهدف لخدمة وزير الأمن القومي إيتمار بن غفير”، مؤكداً أن الإجراء كان يمكن أن يتم عبر استدعاء رسمي، دون مداهمة منزلها فجراً.
وتُعرف زعبي، التي شغلت عضوية الكنيست بين عامي 2009 و2019 عن حزب “التجمع الوطني الديمقراطي”، بمواقفها المناهضة لسياسات الاحتلال تجاه الفلسطينيين.
