عثرت قوى الأمن الداخلي السورية في محافظة حمص على سجن تحت الأرض في منطقة زراعية قرب قرية أبو حكفة بالريف الشمالي الشرقي، كان يستخدم خلال فترة النظام البائد لاحتجاز المدنيين.
وأوضح المسؤول الأمني في ريف حمص الشرقي مروان السلطان في تصريح لمراسل سانا أن الموقع المكتشف أشبه بمغارة تحت الأرض غير صالحة للعيش، وكان يُستغل لخطف النساء والرجال والأطفال لتحقيق مكاسب مالية وسياسية، مؤكّداً أن عمليات تمشيط المنطقة مستمرة، وسط توقعات بالعثور على مقابر جماعية إضافية، وأن جميع المتورطين في هذه الجرائم ستتم ملاحقتهم قانونياً.
بدوره، أشار فواز بلول من أهالي قرية أبو حكفة إلى أن الأرض الزراعية التي اكتشف فيها السجن تعود لأحد عناصر ميليشيا الدفاع الوطني، مبينا أنه عُثر على مغارة كبيرة بمدخلها باب حديدي وأقفال، كانت تُستخدم للتعذيب واحتجاز المدنيين مقابل دفع فدى مالية.
وأكد بلول أن المنطقة شهدت حالات خطف متكررة على يد تلك الميليشيات، مشيراً إلى أنه شخصياً كان ضحية إحدى هذه الحوادث.
ويتواصل سكان القرية مع الجهات المختصة لتوسيع عمليات البحث عن أدلة إضافية قد تكشف حجم الانتهاكات التي تعرّض لها المدنيون خلال تلك الفترة.
