أكد رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان أن بلاده تقف إلى جانب جميع المشاركين في أسطول الصمود العالمي المتوجه إلى قطاع غزة بهدف كسر الحصار الإسرائيلي المفروض عليه.
جاء ذلك في كلمة له خلال اجتماع لحزبه العدالة والتنمية، الخميس، في العاصمة أنقرة.
وأدان أردوغان بشدة الهجوم الإسرائيلي على الأسطول، قائلًا: “أدين بشدة القرصنة على أسطول الصمود الذي انطلق لكشف الهمجية التي تقتل الأطفال جوعا بغزة ولتقديم مساعدات إنسانية”.
وشدد على أن أسطول الصمود كشف مرة أخرى للعالم بأسره “وحشية ما يجري في غزة والوجه الإجرامي لإسرائيل”.
وأضاف: “ثبت أن حكومة نتنياهو المجرمة لا تطيق مجرد احتمال نشوء فرصة لإحلال السلام”.
وشدد على أن تركيا لن تترك أشقاءها الفلسطينيين وحدهم وستواصل العمل بكل طاقتها لتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار في غزة ولكي يسود السلام والاستقرار.
كما أكد أردوغان أن تركيا تتابع تطورات الهجوم الإسرائيلي على الأسطول وتتخذ الاحتياطات لمنع المساس بالأتراك على متن سفنه.
وبيّن أن الهجوم الإسرائيلي على المدنيين في المياه الدولية “يثبت أن طاقم الإبادة بحالة جنون هستيري للتغطية على جرائمه في غزة”.
