أجرى وزير الزراعة السوري أمجد بدر، الخميس 2 تشرين الأول، محادثات مع الملحقين التجاريين في السفارة التركية بدمشق، ألفا سيه سافان وأوغوز كيومجي، لتعزيز التعاون بين سوريا وتركيا في القطاع الزراعي.
واستعرض الجانبان آفاق التعاون لدعم الزراعة، وإمكانية الاستثمار في مجالات عدة، بما في ذلك إنتاج وتسويق المبيدات الزراعية.
وأكد الوزير بدر حرص سوريا على تنمية القطاع الزراعي وتطوير العلاقات الثنائية مع تركيا، وتقديم التسهيلات للمستثمرين وفق القوانين، مشدداً على تحسين شروط تسجيل المبيدات ورفع جودة المنتج الوطني.
من جهته، أشار الملحق التجاري التركي إلى اهتمام الشركات التركية بالاستثمار في الزراعة بسوريا، مؤكداً أن تعزيز التواصل سيسهم في تذليل العقبات ودعم العلاقات الاقتصادية بين البلدين.
وكان وزير الزراعة التركي أعلن منتصف أيلول عن إعداد خارطة طريق مشتركة مع سوريا في المجال الزراعي، بهدف إحياء الإنتاج الزراعي وتحقيق الأمن الغذائي وتعزيز الإنتاج النباتي والحيواني.
