انطلقت في مدينة حلب فعاليات المؤتمر السوري السنوي للصناعات الدوائية، بمشاركة وزارة الصحة ونقابة الصيادلة وممثلي قطاع الصناعة الدوائية والمستثمرين.
وأوضحت وزارة الصحة أن أكثر من 60 شركة سورية شاركت في المؤتمر، عارضةً أحدث منتجاتها وابتكاراتها.
وأكد معاون وزير الصحة للشؤون الصيدلانية الدكتور عبد الرحمن محلي حرص الوزارة على إشراك الشركات في وضع الخطط المستقبلية، والتركيز على إنتاج أدوية نوعية متقدمة كالسرطانية والبيولوجية والهرمونية، لتعزيز الأمن الدوائي الوطني.
ويهدف المؤتمر إلى تشجيع الاستثمار في قطاعات دوائية متخصصة ومتطورة تقنياً، وفتح أسواق جديدة للمنتج السوري دعماً للتصدير والاقتصاد الوطني.
يُذكر أن وزارة الصحة كانت قد وقعت في تموز الماضي اتفاقية تعاون مع شركة إنتر هيلث، في مجالات المشافي ومصانع الأدوية والتكنولوجيا الطبية، تضمنت نقل الخبرات الأجنبية وتدريب الكوادر وتجهيز المشافي.
