أكد وزير خارجية الجمهورية التركية هاكان فيدان أن بلاده تعمل على تقديم الدعم الكامل للحكومة السورية، مشيراً إلى أن انتخابات مجلس الشعب المقررة في الخامس من تشرين الأول تمثل محطة مفصلية في تاريخ سوريا.
وقال فيدان، في مقابلة مع قناة تركيا العربية، إن استقرار سوريا ووحدة أراضيها يشكلان جزءاً من الأمن القومي التركي، مؤكداً رفض أنقرة لأي تدخلات خارجية في الشأن السوري.
وجدد وزير الخارجية التركي إدانة بلاده للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتكررة على الأراضي السورية، داعياً إلى معالجة الأوضاع في السويداء بطريقة إيجابية تحفظ وحدة البلاد.
كما دعا فيدان قوات ب ك ك الإرهابي إلى التوصل لاتفاق مع الحكومة السورية، مشدداً على أهمية استبعاد العناصر التي تهدد أمن ووحدة سوريا.
وأضاف فيدان أن القيادة السورية باتت تحظى بشرعية دولية متزايدة، مشيراً إلى لقاء الرئيس أحمد الشرع والرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان في الأمم المتحدة، وإلى زيارة مرتقبة لوزير الخارجية السوري إلى أنقرة.
وفي الشأن الفلسطيني، شدد فيدان على ضرورة دعم الدول لنشاط أسطول الصمود العالمي لكسر الحصار عن غزة، واصفاً إياه بالعمل الإنساني النبيل، مؤكداً أن تركيا تنسق مع عدة دول وتبذل جهوداً دبلوماسية واسعة بعد إبحار سفن الأسطول.
كما أشار إلى أن بلاده تتابع عن كثب قضية اعتقال ناشطين أتراك من قبل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، عبر جهاز الاستخبارات التركي، مؤكداً مواصلة الجهود لإعادتهم.
