قال رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان , الأحد الرابع عشر من كانون الأول ,إن الرسالة التي نقلتها تركيا إلى الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب بشأن قطاع غزة، خلال لقائهما على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، تركت أثرا لديه.
جاء ذلك في تصريحات أدلى بها خلال فعالية شبابية لحزبه “العدالة والتنمية” في حرم جامعة العلوم الصحية بإسطنبول.
وأكد أردوغان أن تركيا ستواصل دعمها لغزة دون تراجع، مشيرا إلى أن كلمته في الأمم المتحدة أسهمت في تعزيز صمود القطاع، مستشهدا بأبيات للشاعر محمد عاكف أرسوي قال فيها: توكل على الله وتمسك بالسعي واخضع للحكمة.
وفي سياق آخر، شدد أردوغان على أن بلاده حققت نجاحات كبيرة في مكافحة الإرهاب، مؤكدا تطهير شرق وجنوب شرق تركيا من التنظيمات الإرهابية، وعودة الأمن والاستقرار إلى تلك المناطق.
