أعلنت وزارة الداخلية أن مسلحين أطلقوا النار على دورية تابعة لقوى الأمن الداخلي في مدينة معرة النعمان بريف إدلب الجنوبي، الأحد 14 كانون الأول.
وقالت الوزارة إن الهجوم أدى إلى مقتل أربعة عناصر من قوى الأمن الداخلي وإصابة عنصر خامس بجروح، مشيرة إلى أن الوحدات الأمنية المختصة تجري عمليات تمشيط مكثفة في المنطقة لملاحقة المتورطين.
ويأتي هذا الهجوم بعد يوم من هجوم إرهابي استهدف دورية مشتركة للقوات السورية والأمريكية قرب مدينة تدمر بريف حمص الشرقي.
