هنّأ رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان، الاثنين، أتباع الطائفة اليهودية في تركيا بمناسبة عيد «حانوكا» (عيد الأنوار).
وقال أردوغان في رسالة نشرها بهذه المناسبة: «أهنئ مواطنينا اليهود بعيد حانوكا، وأتمنى لهم السلام والرخاء والسعادة».
ويحتفل اليهود بعيد حانوكا إحياء لذكرى انتصار «المكابيين» على الإمبراطورية السلوقية عام 165 قبل الميلاد، ويستمر الاحتفال هذا العام بين 14 و22 كانون الأول، حيث تمتنع الطائفة خلاله عن مظاهر الحداد والتعبير عن الحزن.
