أعلنت الحكومة البريطانية، الأربعاء 17 كانون الأول، إزالة ثلاثة كيانات وأفراد سوريين من قائمة العقوبات المفروضة على سوريا.
وبحسب مذكرة رسمية صادرة عن لندن، جرى تنفيذ أربع عمليات شطب من قوائم العقوبات، في إطار المراجعات الدورية التي تجريها الحكومة لأنظمة العقوبات المعمول بها.
وذكرت وكالة رويترز أن هذه الخطوة تأتي ضمن آليات التقييم الدوري التي تعتمدها بريطانيا لتحديد استمرار إدراج الأفراد أو الكيانات على قوائم العقوبات وفق المعايير القانونية، من دون الكشف عن الأسماء التي شملها القرار أو أسباب الشطب.
