أبلغ رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان نظيره الأذربيجاني إلهام علييف دعمه لعملية السلام بين أذربيجان وأرمينيا.
وجاء ذلك في اتصال هاتفي، الأربعاء، بحسب بيان صادر عن دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة التركية.
وأكد أردوغان خلال الاتصال أن تركيا وأذربيجان تواصلان جهودهما لتحقيق أهدافهما في التعاون بجميع المجالات، ولا سيما في مجال التجارة.
وأعرب الرئيس التركي عن ترحيبه بالتقدم المحرز في عملية السلام بين أذربيجان وأرمينيا، مؤكدا دعمه لهذه العملية.
كما هنأ أردوغان نظيره الأذربيجاني بمناسبة عيد ميلاده ورأس السنة الميلادية.
