أقامت الطوائف المسيحية في دمشق، أمس 31 كانون الأول، الصلوات والقداديس في الكنائس، بمناسبة عيد رأس السنة الميلادية.
كما شهدت قرية القنية في ريف إدلب أجواء احتفالية بمناسبة حلول رأس السنة الميلادية، حيث اجتمع الأهالي في كنيسة القديس يوسف لإقامة الصلوات والقداديس، وسط أجواء من الأمان والطمأنينة.
وأعرب خوري رعية القنية خوكاز، في تصريح لوكالة سانا، عن أمله بأن يحمل العام الجديد الخير والسلام لسوريا، وأن تسود المحبة بين أبنائها.
وفي هذا الإطار، عززت قوى الأمن الداخلي انتشارها في المحافظات، بهدف تأمين احتفالات رأس السنة الميلادية والحفاظ على سلامة المواطنين.
