أكدت وزارة الدفاع التركية أن أنقرة تقيّم التطورات في مضيق هرمز من منظور الحفاظ على السلام والاستقرار الإقليمي، مشيرة إلى متابعة دقيقة للتصريحات المتعلقة بالأمن البحري والتنسيق مع الدول الحليفة.
وجاء ذلك خلال إحاطة إعلامية قدّمها متحدث الوزارة زكي أق تورك،الأربعاء , حيث شددت المصادر على الأهمية الاستراتيجية لمضيق هرمز بالنسبة لأمن الطاقة العالمي واستمرار التجارة البحرية، مع التأكيد على ضرورة الحفاظ على حرية الملاحة ومنع أي تصعيد.
وفي سياق متصل، أعلنت الوزارة نشر منظومة دفاع جوي من طراز “باتريوت” تابعة لألمانيا في ولاية أضنة جنوبي تركيا، إلى جانب منظومة أخرى إسبانية، وذلك ضمن إجراءات تعزيز أمن المجال الجوي.
