أسفر اجتماع مجلس الشورى العسكري الأعلى في تركيا، الذي عقد اليوم الثلاثاء 4 آب برئاسة رئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان في أنقرة، عن إقرار حزمة من القرارات المتعلقة بالترقيات والتقاعد في صفوف القوات المسلحة.
وشملت القرارات ترقية 25 جنرالاً وأميرالاً، وإحالة 63 جنرالاً وأميرالاً إلى التقاعد، إلى جانب تمديد خدمة 24 جنرالاً لمدة عام، و530 عقيداً لمدة عامين، على أن تدخل جميع القرارات حيز التنفيذ اعتباراً من 30 آب/أغسطس الجاري.
كما قرر المجلس تمديد ولاية قائد القوات البحرية، الأدميرال أرجومنت تاتلي أوغلو، لمدة عام إضافي، فيما عُيّن الفريق أول رفعت دالكيران قائداً جديداً للقوات الجوية، خلفاً للفريق أول ضياء جمال قاضي أوغلو الذي أُحيل إلى التقاعد.
