عرضت محافظة دمشق، في المنتدى الاستثماري السوري السعودي الأول من نوعه، مشروع “مترو دمشق“، الذي يُعدّ أبرز مشاريع قطاع النقل العام في البلاد، ويتمتع بعوامل جذب استثماري متنوعة.
وفي حديثه لموقع الإخبارية، قال مدير شؤون النقل البري علي إسبر في وزارة النقل إن كلفة مشروع مترو دمشق الإجمالية تقدّر بحوالي مليار و200 مليون يورو، ما يجعله مؤهلاْ لمتطلبات الجهات الاستثمارية الكبرى.
وتتمثل أبرز نقاط القوة الاستثمارية، بحسب إسبر، في الإيرادات التشغيلية العالية الناتجة عن عدد الرحلات والتنقلات اليومية، إضافةً إلى الفرص الاستثمارية التي توفرها المحطات السبع عشرة التبادلية، والتي تقع في مناطق ذات كثافة سكانية مرتفعة.
ويوفّر المشروع فرص عمل للعمالة المحلية، وقد أخذت الوزارة على عاتقها دعم المجتمع المحلي، ووضعت خطة متكاملة لتدريب العاملين على جميع المنظومات في المشروع، بهدف الوصول إلى نسبة تشغيل محلية تصل إلى 100 بالمئة، وفقًا لإسبر.
أما فيما يتعلّق بإسهام المشروع في دعم الاقتصاد المحلي، فإن ذلك سيتحقق بطرق عدّة؛ إذ قال إسبر إنّ مشروع مترو دمشق سيحقّق عوائد اقتصادية مباشرة من خلال الإيرادات اليومية التي ستعود إلى الخزينة العامة، فضلاً عن إيرادات غير مباشرة تتمثّل في توفير الوقت وموارد الطاقة المستهلكة في وسائل النقل الأخرى.
